Keystone Horsemanship and McFarland Cattle Co will be hosting a beginner cattle work clinic
April 21-22nd, 2018!
Each day we will be doing two separate four hour sessions. One at 9am-1pm, and the second 2pm-6pm.
McFarland Cattle Co will be here helping you to desensitize your horses to cattle and teaching an introduction to cow horse clinic.
If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to work cattle this is a great opportunity to introduce yourself and your horse in a slow, relaxed pace in a controlled environment. Sorting, walk trot tracking, indoor cattle driving and boxing will be addressed.
Not a problem if you have never worked or sorted cattle.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn to sort and hold live cattle.
This clinic will be a very beginner friendly to those who have never worked cattle before. We will be in an arena setting – not in the pasture.
Early riders, plan to be here at 8:30, warmed up and ready to ride at 9.
Cost will be $120 per session, per horse, limited to 6 riders per session so be sure to reserve your spot soon! You may sign up for multiple sessions, and receive a discount.
Concession lunch available.
